Do you want free books that don't require a bunch of trips back and forth to the library with heavy bags or long Libby wait times?
You don’t need a Kindle to take advantage of the Stuff Your Kindle days!
Stuff Your Kindle Day was started by Zoe York as a way for romance authors to promote their books. They mark them down to zero dollars for a 24 hour period. This event has since expanded to include a wide variety of genres and sub-genres such as thriller, horror, fantasy, and cozy mystery. There are even audiobook days, with the next one coming later this year. The summer 2024 dates and genres are at the end of this post!
Here’s what to do:
Make sure you have an Amazon account: Amazon Prime or Kindle Unlimited aren't necessary! You just need a basic, free account.
Download the Kindle app on your preferred device (phone, tablet, etc.), or connect your Amazon account to your Kindle.
Follow the genre links later in this post and browse the websites, or open Amazon in your browser and search "stuff your Kindle day." Note: The Amazon app doesn't work with this, make sure you use a browser.
Make sure the book you're looking at says "$0.00" and press "Buy now for Free."
Download as many books as you can! They are now yours, and there is no time limit to read them. The books should automatically be sent to your app. Have fun discovering new authors and filling your summer TBR!
